About Me

Well, I really don't know where to start (much less, I really don't know why ANYONE would want to visit this page with the exception of satisfying their morbid curiosity). My name is Stacy Johnson. I am a Cancer/Double-Capricorn. ( Sun in Cancer/Moon & Asc in Capricorn). I came into this world on July 8, 1968 @ six minutes past nine at night EST. I was born on an Air Force base (Kinchloe) in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan. (If you care to you can view my natal report)

About two weeks after my birth, my mother (who is a beautiful and wonderful person) took me to Maine (which is where our family is from) because my father was being sent to Greenland (brrr). I lived in Mechanic Falls, Maine for the first ten years of my life and then we moved to Oxford, Maine where I stayed until I graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1987 (yeah, I stayed back a year because I ran away from home to hitchhike around the country when I was fifteen).

Then, I traveled some more. California, Oregon, Washington State. I returned to Maine and enrolled at Central Maine Technical College in Auburn, Maine in 1990. I was in the Automotive Technology program ( I have quite an affinity for cars, especially fast, older General Motors cars; I think it is because both my father and my grandfather raced stockcars and I grew up around it). I was enrolled in the Associate's Degree program but I left after one year (I had received a certificate in Automotive Technology) because I wanted to move to Washington State, where I quickly enrolled in Bates Technical College (in Tacoma) to complete my degree. Which I did in June of 1992. Then I just roamed for a few years-Maine to Tacoma to Seattle to Maine, So on and so forth.

I now live in Norway, Maine (We just moved in; this is our first home) with my husband Andrew (My beautiful Taurus true love, born May 5, 1966) and our daughter Melissa (Sagittarius born 12/17/98). We were Married in St. Johnsbury, Vermont on August 6, 1997. Andy builds houses and I stay home with Melissa and write. I do resumes and write letters to earn money. There is this running joke that he only married me for my Carquest charge account and the keys to my grandfather's garage which makes me lol because I have a twisted sense of humor.

I have been studying astrology for almost ten years. I am an associate member of the AFA and I am currently taking a correspondence course through them so I can get a certification. A lot of the content on this site (Daily & Weekly horoscopes, sign meanings) is borrowed from other sources because I haven't had the time to write it myself but I do plan to in the future.

As I said, I have been studying astrology for quite some time now but the first time I ever used a computer was in December of 1999 so this whole Web site building thing is very new to me and I feel I must tell you that I built this whole site myself with a text editor (with the exception of two pages - www.cosmocat.net/indexforreport.html and www.cosmocat.net/example.html; which I received with my astrology software and I modified slightly to match my site). I also did not create the order forms. For the rest of my pages, I did not use Front-page or any of those other WYSIWYG editors. I taught myself everything through free online tutorials ( Web Developer's Virtual Library, Volition, HTML Goodies, Big Nosed Bird, Tucows, etc..) I know that most of my site is very plain but I wanted it that way; Big graphics take way too long to load.

If anyone is wondering why my site is called Cosmo Cat Astrology I will tell you; Cosmo is one of my cat's names and he is the most awesome cat in the world. I dreamed that I should name my site after him and since it also goes along so well with the astrology thing, I figured "Why Not?!"
